What we record, and why.

Last reviewed October 2026.

What you send us

If you fill in a pledge, supporter or contact form we receive what you type into it, such as your name, email address and message, and the page you sent it from. We use it to reply to you and to set up the support you asked about. No payment is taken on this website.

What we count when you visit

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the pages you view, roughly where you are and what kind of device you use, with your IP address anonymised. We also keep an anonymous visitor and session identifier in your browser's local storage so one visit is not counted twice. None of this identifies you by name.

Opting out

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the Google Analytics tag does not load. You can also clear this site's local storage in your browser at any time.

Getting in touch

To ask what we hold about you or to have it removed, use the contact form on the Take action page and say so in your message.
